I have been absolutely loving the holiday time spending every moment with our adventurous 2 year old! Here’s some highlights from our New Year break which we spent at Huia Lodge in the beautiful Waitākere Ranges.

A Cozy In-Home Newborn Session with Baby Austin

This sleepy little smoosh is named Austin and I was lucky enough to meet him and his wonderful parents at their home a couple of weeks ago for a newborn photography session.

I love capturing all the tiny details—his little yawns, the way he curled up in Mum and Dad’s arms, and those fleeting newborn stretches. These are the moments that pass by in a blur, and it’s always such a privilege to photograph these little moments for new parents.

Sunset Maternity Session – A Family of Three, Soon to Be Four

I always love capturing a family as they prepare to welcome a new little love. This recent maternity session was extra special - a glowing mum, a proud dad, and an excited two-year-old, all counting down the days until they become a family of four!

Toddlers bring the best kind of energy to sessions, and little Henry was no exception - running, giggling, and giving the sweetest belly kisses to his soon-to-be sibling. Meanwhile, Mum and Dad took a quiet moment together, soaking in this fleeting stage before their world grows even fuller.

A Special In-Home Family Session with Baby Niwa

There’s always something so special about in-home photo sessions - the warmth, the comfort, and the pure, everyday magic of family life. Baby Niwa’s session was just that: a peaceful morning filled with soft cuddles, tiny fingers, and the sweetest little smiles.

There’s nothing quite like the energy of a four-year-old, and Macey brought it all to our recent mini session! She kept her parents (and me!) on our toes the entire time - in the best way possible.

Wellington Mini Session - Kanitha and James

A Sweet Mini Session with Baby Ezra & His Family

Some sessions just melt your heart, and this one was definitely one of them! Baby Ezra, his lovely parents, and his doting grandparents joined me for a recent family mini session, and it was pure joy from start to finish.

Ezra was all smiles, soaking up the love from his biggest fans—Mum, Dad, and his proud grandparents. There were cuddles, giggles, and those tiny fingers wrapped around hands that adore him. Seeing three generations together, laughing and celebrating this precious little soul, was a beautiful reminder of what family photography is all about.
